Book Launch and Lecture – Hymns of Hope and Healing

A message from our Open College Principal and MA Programme Leader – Revd Dr Jan Berry

We are now getting closer to the publication of ‘Hymns of Hope and Heling‘, the collection of words and music which emerged from our ‘Hymns for Healing‘ project at Holy Rood House. We are celebrating this with a launch, and a lecture by Janet Wootton, here at Luther King House in Manchester on Monday 26th June, and we hope as many as possible of you will be able to join us. A flier (and full details) can be found here, and please feel free to invite other guests. Our chapel can hold up to 100 people, so please make sure to book your place in good time!

For those of you who can’t make it, do remember there will also be a celebration at Holy Rood House in September, including the Hildegard lecture on Friday 22nd September.

Thanks to all who have contributed to the project, and to the book – it’s exciting to see it coming to fruition!
