The Trust Library is seeking to appoint a Learning Resources Assistant (35 hours per week with some flexibility).

The Library is a central part of the life of the Trust and the Learning Resources Assistant provides vital day-to-day support to all library users, contributing to the smooth running of the library and helping to maintain its excellent reputation.  The Learning Resources Assistant works closely with the Learning Resources Tutor in ensuring that all library activities reflect the ethos of the Library mission statement.

With previous experience of working in a library or similar environment and excellent customer service skills, you will be in sympathy with the Christian ethos of the Trust and have the enthusiasm, initiative and motivation necessary to undertake this interesting and varied role.

Library Staffing

Pat Anstis, our Learning Resources Assistant, has now left the library and until we have a replacement in post, the library will only be staffed until 5pm on Monday nights during term time instead of 6.45pm as usual.

Wendy Bell is working one day a week until we have a replacement in post – please say hello to her if you see her in the library!
The library is not staffed on a Friday afternoon between 1.30pm and 3.30pm due to other staff commitments.
Occasionally, the library may be unstaffed for the whole of Friday afternoon.
Please bear this in mind if you plan to visit the library on a Friday, and contact us in advance if you have any questions.
