Due to recent announcements from the UK Government, it has been decided that this lecture has been cancelled. It may be rescheduled for an alternative date, and we advise those who may still wish to attend to keep checking our Events page for any further updates.

All of us at Luther King House apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Freeset exists for the thousands of women vulnerable to trafficking or trapped in prostitution. These women don’t get to choose their occupation, and Freeset wants to change that. Poverty exploits women in the most horrible ways. Through business Freeset offers the choice to be free within a community of dignity and hope.

Luther King House are privileged to welcome Kerry & Annie Hilton to talk about their story and their journey. Kerry & Annie, founders of Freeset, have lived in Kolkata’s largest red-light area, Sonagacchi, for many years. In the context of community with their neighbours, they have learnt something about the reign of God through faith, justice and business. All are welcome to come and hear their story…

For more information about Freeset, please click the link visit their website.

The lecture will begin at 7.30pm.

A pdf leaflet for you to download, print and distribute can be found here.
