Church Leadership Training Courses at LKH

If you are involved in any form of Christian ministry and want to develop your Christian ministry and church leadership skills, the BA in Contextual Theology undergraduate degree course at Luther King House is designed for you!

Our undergraduate degree programme is carefully designed to train and equip Christians for all aspects of Christian ministry and discipleship, including lay and ordained church leadership.

The degree programme is modular, so you can choose which modules are most relevant to your own ministry and missional training needs. Our modules include:

  • church leadership
  • biblical studies
  • preaching training (homiletics) course
  • worship leadership training
  • mission and evangelism studies course
  • pastoral care training; and much more!

If you do not wish to study towards a full degree qualification, it is also possible to enrol on any of our individual courses in their own right, on a not-for-credit basis, whether for personal interest or professional development – or to study them alongside other modules on our degree course in order to obtain an alternative qualification such as a certificate or diploma in Contextual Theology.

Our courses are flexible and affordable, with part and full time study options, and SLC loans and grants available for eligible students on our degree courses.

For more information about our individual modules, and to enrol on any of our ministry and church leadership training courses and events, see our Modules page or our Open Learning Programme page, or contact the LKH Registry Office.

For more information about our undergraduate BA degree programme, and how to apply, see our BA in Contextual Theology, entry requirements and applications process pages.
