Latest news from the Library

Temporary Building Closure: Updated 04/01/21

Due to Manchester now being in Tier 4 and the heightened government restrictions, the Luther King House building will remain closed until the restrictions are eased.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and hope you understand why this decision was necessary. I will provide regular updates of any developments or changes to the library service.
During this time there will be no access to the library building. However arrangements can be made if you need to collect and/ or return books. We will also continue to offer the postal loan service.
To make arrangements to borrow or return books please contact the library, email: library@lkh.co.uk phone: 0161 249 2509

Please check this news feed for staffing changes and see the notices that we will display in the library. Staffing updates are also posted on the news feed of the library catalogue at www.lkhlibrarycatalogue.org.uk

Please contact us in advance of your visit if you have any concerns or if you wish to check that staff are available to help you.  Any changes to staffing are displayed in the library so that our users are aware.

If you plan to visit the library in the evening, you may be asked to show your library membership card at Reception to gain library access.

We also welcome all new and returning students to LKH Library.  We look forward to a happy and productive year of studying and learning together! Please get in touch with Katie if you need any help in using the library.

As library books are in high demand, please check your email and library account regularly. Renew your books to let us know that you are still using them and regularly return books that you have finished using.
